Meet Bianca Monley, entrepreneur, absolute lover of food, business genius and powerhouse mum! This New Zealand local took Sydney by storm when she combined her passion for health, motivation for business and vast knowledge of food to create one of Australia's most successful food delivery services, Eat Fit Food.What started as a one-woman show in her tiny apartment has now developed into a highly respected business, complete with a team of chefs, nutritionists and health experts across Sydney and Melbourne. So when we got the opportunity to find out her secrets to success, we simply couldn't pass it up!

What happens in the 1st hour of your day?

My 3 little ones (who are aged 1, 2 & 3) wake at 5.30am so it’s a quick Nespresso and all systems go with them. Thankfully, my hubby takes over three days’ a week so I can exercise of a morning.

What 5 food items are always in your trolley?

  1. Avocados
  2. Bananas
  3. Olive Oil
  4. Sea salt + pepper
  5. Coconut Oil

Habits that make you & habits that break you?

Make Me: Meditation and exercising outdoors improve my life dramatically.Break Me: I love a good glass of wine, sometimes a little too much.

3 food rules you live by?

  1. Always enjoy what you are eating.
  2. Don’t diet or follow fads.
  3. Don’t deprive yourself of the foods you love, just watch the portion size and frequency.

What inspired you to create Eat Fit Food?

The motivation to encourage people to enjoy their food and that eating healthy can be a fabulous way of life.

Tell us about your weekly fitness routine?

I do a combination of the following: one-on-one boxing, outdoor group sessions, yoga and/or run or walk with my kids.

How do you balance being a both a mum and a founder of a company?

This is a very hard question as I’m forever trying to find the perfect balance.When I am with my kids I try to switch my phone off as much as I can so I am completely present with them.

Guilty pleasure? – Fine quality cheese and a glass of Chardonnay4. You can only do one style of workout for life… what would it be? – Boxing, for sure!5. Something people wouldn’t know about you? – My first job as a child, aged 7 was picking watercress from the wild streams in New Zealand and knocking on restaurant doors to sell it.
