Depending on what you like, we usually recommend starting with:
1. Supertone (a pilates style workout)
2. Baseline (strength)
3. Greatest HIITS (no contact boxing)
4. Tabata (strength and athletic cardio)
When you’re ready to give our dance cardio a go, start with The Upbeat Signature (a mix of pilates and dance) and work your way up to Dance FIIT (our most advanced Dance Cardio class and quite high impact, but a real vibe!).
You should receive an email and SMS to confirm your reservation, including the Live Stream link, within a few minutes of booking, plus a reminder the day before your class. If you didn't get a reservation confirmation within 10 minutes of booking, please contact us immediately so we can give you the link.
Note that our support team is available Mon to Fri 10:30am to 5pm, so if that won't solve your problem in time or if you need urgent help, please direct message us on Instagram @theupbeatbondi (or Facebook if you don't have an Instagram account).
Why aren't I getting emails or SMS from you?
If you're not getting emails or SMS, please login to your account and check you have enabled email and SMS notifications. Please also check your email is correct and that we have your mobile number (SMS is more reliable).
Next, check your email junk folder. If our emails are going to junk, or if you're on a work email account (which may mean a corporate firewall is blocking our emails), please add hello@theupbeat.fit as contacts in your email software. This may help our emails get through security protocols.
If that doesn't work, please contact us and we'll see what else we can do.
What if I don't want to be on camera?
No problem! You can choose to turn off your video for Live Stream classes. We also Live Stream some Studio classes but only a couple of spots will be visible on camera. If you're booked for a Studio class that is Live Streamed, arrive 5 min early and grab a spot on the front part of the studio which is completely out of sight of the camera.

What if I'm not very fit?
Never fear, just go at your own pace. Need to sit down or skip a few reps? Do it. Fitness and dance isn’t about smashing yourself every single time. Just listen to your body and do what feels right for you.
What if I can't dance?
It doesn’t matter if you have two left feet, we're lucky enough to have an ego free community where it's about fun and good vibes, not judgment and perfection.
What if I'm self conscious?
In our studio classes, the lights are low and the music is pumping so you can hide in the crowd if you like. Our community is very welcoming and supportive so you’ll feel at home in no time. If you're still worried, start with a Live Stream class or practice at home with On Demand first.
What's the difference between Live Stream and On Demand?
Our Live Stream classes are broadcast so you can join our studio classes in real-time. You can access On Demand workouts anytime. You need to book Live Stream classes from our timetable. On Demand workouts don't need to be booked, simply login and away you go!
Do I need to sign up to a membership?
No, we have a range of pricing options including pay per class/workshop, or class/workshop packs that don’t involve a recurring payment. But, a membership is the best value and can be paused or cancelled at any time, there’s no lock-in. Plus, a membership includes On Demand workouts! Get started by booking a class on our timetable and choosing an intro offer option.
Are your workouts suitable for pregnancy or new mums?
This depends on you. If you've never worked out before, starting while you're pregnant isn't recommended. If you regularly worked out prior to being pregnant, then please contact us and we'll send you a comprehensive guide and please come a little early to your first class to chat with the trainer (just in case, always remind the trainer at each class). Same goes for new mums. If you're working out online, then we suggest contacting us to organise a chat with Libby.
How can I pause or cancel my membership?
Memberships are week to week and can be paused or cancelled anytime. You can cancel via our booking app or contact us, ideally with 7 days notice, and we'll sort it out for you.
