Victoria’s Secret Angels Reveal Their Runway Ready Secrets!

With summer just around the corner and the BUF Bikini Overhaul drawing to a close, we thought it would be fitting to bring you some hot tips from a group of SUPER hot women who couldn’t be more bikini-ready if they tried!Ok, we know the Victoria’s Secret Angels have genetics on their side, but that’s not to say they don’t put in a lot of hard work in order to get those bods in tip top condition to walk the runway, so we did a bit of research and dug up their top hot-bod tips.

VS Angel Tip #1: Workout in great clothes

Ever noticed how much better your workout is when you’re rocking a hot new gym outfit?According to the Angels, it not only makes you push harder when you feel great in your threads, it’s also way more fun! They suggest picking sports wear that makes you feel strong and sexy, feels really good on, lifts your butt and has nice, sleek lines. We adore Stylerunner, lululemon, Vie Active and (of course), Victoria’s Secret for all your sleek-and-sexy workout gear needs.

VS Angel Tip #2: Train with your girlfriends

The Angels definitely believe in Girl Power, which our Bottoms Up! BUFettes have in spades too! Find activities you and your girlfriends like to do, whether it’s BUF sessions, boxing classes, yoga, dancing, or even pooling your funds to hire a personal trainer to whoop your collective butts once a week. Whatever you do, hold each other accountable.

VS Angel Tip #3: Use a resistance band

These ladies have super hectic schedules (just like you do!), which sometimes leaves minimal time to hit the gym. Training with a resistance band can literally be done anywhere - they’re small, light and a super effective way to work every muscle in your body. Few workout tools beat the efficiency of the resistance band and the Angels LOVE using these bad boys to tone every inch of their bods before a show. Check out lots of ways to use them at Bodylastics

VS Angel Tip #4: Channel your inner “Million Dollar Baby”

Just about every Angel uses boxing training regularly, even to shed that tricky post-baby weight (yep, plenty of the VS gals have had babies, and they still manage to look like that! Gotta love genetics). Get slim, strong and sexy by adding a high intensity boxing session to your weekly training schedule. At BUF, we love Lauren Eagle and her killer arms! Try one of her workouts in real time, with awesome beats at Zova

VS Angel Tip #5: Feel incredible in (and out) of your clothes with regular Pilates practice

A few of the Angels have been quoted saying they, “feel like they’ve had a massage” after a good Pilates class. With a focus on core strength and all over toning, Pilates can really help you sculpt your body from head to toe and is a nice compliment to high intensity training. No time to become a Pilates queen? A BUF Ass ‘n’ Abs, or Yoga class is a great second option! If you’re a Sydney-sider keen find a great place to try out Pilates, check out Body & Soul’s great article for inspiration.

VS Angel Tip #6: Get a butt that makes you want to strut

According to Leandro Carvalho, the trainer responsible for sculpting the Angels’ backsides, every woman should, “look divine from behind”. Leandro’s style of training is a dynamic blend of fat-melting cardio, Brazilian dance and lower-body sculpting moves that target every muscle of a girl’s booty. His workouts will transform your butt, “from saggy to sexy, from droopy to dreamy and from pear-shaped to perfect”. We are all about flaunting your best ass-ets at Bottoms Up! so we’re giving Leandro a big ol’ high-5 for that one!

ATTENTION ALL BUFETTES!
