Reaching goals, newfound self-esteem and slipping into that little black dress…  four of our BUF Girls tell their stories of finding confidence and feeling beautiful, unstoppable and fearless.

Lizzie Uhr – Canberra, Australia

The BUF Body program is the best program I’ve ever done by far – it really whipped my body into shape for summer! The fact I could participate all the way from Canberra was even better. The holistic nature really set the program apart from others I’ve done - I absolutely loved learning more about WHY certain things were better for the body and how to figure out what was the right thing for me, rather than just being told, 'it is what it is'.I loved the variety of workouts (and the fact they were themed!), the recipe ideas and also the BUF Mind section, as it focused on improving health and wellbeing from every aspect. But the best part by far was the group of ladies I met through the program - you become a little cyber family and it could have been hard considering you’re 300km away from the main headquarters, however this didn't make a difference at all! I felt like I might as well have been Libby, Leash, Cass and Sian's neighbours!To any ladies out there thinking about doing the program - just get on board, get BUF and you'll never turn back.

The BUF program meant that wherever I was, shooting interstate or working from MTV's Sydney HQ, I could always duck out for a lunch time or early morning session, keeping my fitness on track – and having a new nutrition goal to stick to each week meant you never got bored. The brilliant food and workout ideas and support from the BUF Girls on Facebook made the whole program like a fun family gathering, especially when I was able to get my friends together to do the workouts with me!

The BUF Body program is all about easy food tweaks, delicious recipes, fun workouts and most importantly, a brilliant supportive community of like-minded girls who want nothing but the best for their bodies. All you have to do is work hard, make some simple changes and you’ll definitely see results – I did!The program was so different to others I’d tried because the supportive community is there to high-five you when you're kicking goals and lift you up when you fall off the wagon - the coaches really know their stuff too and understand what's important to us girls – and how to make us feel really great about ourselves. They educate in a way that makes it so easy to understand and you feel empowered about food and fitness.

I didn't have a lot of expectations about the logistics of the actual program. I assumed it would be mainly exercise focussed, a tough 6 weeks and I'd lose weight and maybe take a few weeks off and then cycle through it again and lose some more weight. What I didn't realise was that it would completely change my life. The way I eat, workout and choose to spend my spare time! And most importantly how I view my own body!
