This celebrity nutritionist loves croissants and wants to be on your speed dial!
I love the idea of seeing a nutritionist. I mean, someone to keep track of my food intake, answer all my weird body questions and help optimise my health? Sounds great! But honestly, who has the time?It sounds silly, because really prevention is always better than the cure when it comes to looking after your health, but in reality it’s just hard to create the time and cash you need to get guidance on something like your food and supplement intake. So when we heard celeb nutritionist and female body guru, Pip Reed had partnered up with one of the country’s top dietitans and sports nutritionists, Robbie Clark to create Australia’s first online live health clinic, we were pretty intrigued. All consults take place online, you can book in a time whenever/wherever you like and you’ll have two of Australia’s top health brainiacs on call, literally. We love the idea of having not one but two celebrity nutritionists on our speed dial, so we asked Pip to tell us more – and used the opportunity to pick her brain for some quick tips that will help improve your skin, digestion, body shape and mood while we were at it.We also got a little insight into what Pip munches on herself and uncovered a bunch of her weird habits that will make you feel more normal. You’re welcome ;)Here’s our chat with Pip…

So what does Pip eat, hmm…?
3 food rules you live by?
- Eat by colour - have something colourful at every meal and avoid overloading on beige (bread, pasta, biscuits, cakes etc)
- Eat organic food whenever possible, especially avoiding the ‘dirty dozen’
- Oily fish in abundance
Do you have any odd food habits?Oh yep, I sure do... I hate coriander with a passion; I eat kiwi fruits skin and all, I change my coffee order every time (almond cap, skim cap, piccolo - very annoying and unpredictable). I’m sure I have loads more but you’ll have to ask my husband. What 5 food items are always in your trolley?Broccoli, avocado, salmon, Medjool dates, organic free range eggsYour fave brunch order? Cappuccino, organic sourdough with smashed avo and poached eggs, and a tomato relish, with lots of salt! Or a croissant… (AND a croissant?!)
Other quirky stuff about you we need to know…
What time do you go to bed and wake up?10.30pm, 7am (ish)What fires you up?Exercise (in a good way), technology that doesn’t work (in a bad way)Something you bought for $100 that changed your life?A Neoflam fry pan! I think it was $99 - they’re toxin-free, allow for healthy cooking without dangerous non-stick coating, are eco friendly, and look great.Where will we find you on a Sunday?Breakfast (croissant) in bed with the newspapers, followed by a walk at the beach and a stroll through some markets if I can convince the husband, then curled up on the sofa to watch a movie with dumplings and a glass of red wine.
