New Year’s Day Chair Workout

We hope you had an awesome night celebrating the arrival of 2014, filled with great friends, beautiful dresses, New Year’s resolutions, stolen kisses and perhaps even a cheeky glass of French champagne (or two).https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BvBE9fJmdRQIf you’re in need of a recovery workout today, but can’t quite muster the energy to drag your tired butt out of the house, fear not! Today, the BUF crew bring you a fun little chair workout you can do in the safety of your home… or on a handy park bench if you’re after a bit of Vitamin D!First, check out our video for a range of cool lower body, upper body and core exercises you can do with nothing but a chair. Next, create a custom workout by choosing 9 exercises (3 for each part of the body), then mashing the order up and completing 15 reps of each, back-to-back. When you get to the end, rest 60s, then go back and do 12 reps of each, rest 45s, then 9 reps of each, rest 30s and finally, 6 reps of each.Feeling hardcore? Once you’re finished all the sets above, go back and list all the exercises in the video you didn’t choose for the main workout and do 20 reps of each of them as a finisher… yowch!Below is a quick list of all the exercises in the vid… enjoy the workout girls, let us know how you go and remember, if you’re suffering from post-party dehydration, sip on plenty of H2O, beetroot juice and coconut water to banish the blues today ;)
